Jeffrey Giancaspro is a seasoned lighting director, designer, and installation technician with over 10 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry. He brings a wealth of expertise to lighting and stage production, having honed his skills in diverse settings.
A native of Central Florida, Jeffrey began his journey at the age of 16 as a technical intern at The Flagler Auditorium in 2013. His dedication quickly led to his role as house electrician, where he supported over 30 touring productions, designed countless light plots, and directed shows for live music performances and local dance groups.
After high school, Jeffrey relocated to Delray Beach, FL, and pursued further education at Florida Atlantic University. During this time, he joined IATSE Local 500, where he led crews as a Master Electrician and Lighting Director at prestigious venues such as The Kravis Center, The Breakers, and Coral Sky Amphitheater. He played integral roles in high-profile events, from concerts featuring Lil Wayne and Blink 182 to corporate events for brands like BMW and performances by The Palm Beach Opera.
Following his graduation from FAU and the impact of the pandemic, Jeffrey shifted to permanent installation work with iDesign Productions and took on lighting technical direction roles with Creative Integration Studio. His versatility and problem-solving skills have consistently made him a valuable asset to every team he works with.
Jeffrey’s expertise spans from installing cutting-edge nightclub lighting systems to programming seasonal lighting for upscale shopping districts. Whether remotely programming nightclubs worldwide or directing large-scale live music events, he thrives under pressure and consistently delivers creative, business-driven solutions. He also ensures the success of DAER Nightclub in Hollywood, FL, with his weekly contributions.
